Even on manufactured trailers wiring colors can vary so there is no way to say for sure. The only way to know which wire is tied to which function is to trace the wire back. On an SAE standard 7-way the brown wire would be the tail/running lights. On an RV standard it would be the right turn/brake light. Since it is a homemade trailer it could be anything. Something is obviously causing a voltage drop between the brake controller and the trailer connector. The usual culprit in this type of situation is a break in the wire or a corroded wire. 6-way and 7-way wiring typically use different wire colors by function so there isn't going to be a way to use the color of your wires to install the part # HM48502. Very close to that Steve, I am recommending 2 converters but both of them would be mounted on the vehicle side. The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT would mount to the tail light wiring and will power the trailers lighting functions. I would start by checking each connector on your T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118266 to ensure that you don't have any bent or damaged pins or any debris in the connectors. We do have replacement trailer wiring for your 2013 Toyota Sienna and for that I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118498 because of how reliable it is.
If your current wiring has this same style where it pulls power directly from your Sienna battery via the power wire then I recommend checking to see if the fuse needs to be replaced before you replace the entire wiring harness. The fuse should be located in the engine bay near your battery.
